BENJAMIN YAVAR

I'm a Chilean underwater photographer, videographer, and visual artist based in the Philippines. My work has been recognized as Nature Photographer of the Year (2024), and I'm a finalist for the 2026 Ocean Photographer of the Year and Red Bull Illume awards.

I create high-end underwater visual campaigns for global brands, including Philippine Airlines, DJI, Molchanovs,  blending technical freediving skill with a gallery-quality eye for composition and light. Alongside this, I'm a continental record holder in freediving and a certified Molchanovs instructor with 4+ years of teaching experience.

I specialize in wide-angle reef systems, pelagic megafauna, and macro underwater cinematography using full-frame camera systems and custom housings, built for brands that need cinematic, print-ready ocean content.
